Implant Procedure
Digital Implant Surgery Procedure
Preoperative Diagnosis:
Diagnosis and 3D Scanning :
- Evaluate the patient’s oral and gum conditions, acquiring precise 3D data through CT scans or oral scanners.
- In cases of insufficient gum and bone, additional surgery for autologous bone grafting may be required, taking around 6 months for fusion.
Implant Surgery Preparation:
Digital Simulation and Planning:
- Utilize the collected 3D data for computer-based surgery simulations to determine the optimal implant positions and plan the depth and direction of fixture placement.
- Create a guide based on the planned implant positions, considering the depth and direction guided by the simulation.
First Surgery - Fixture Insertion:
- Administer anesthesia for the surgery.
- Following the guide, drill small holes in the gum without incisions and insert fixtures. This method shortens surgery time (approximately 10 minutes) and ensures precise placement.
Second Surgery - Digital Impression and Processing:
- Use the previous guide to confirm proper attachment of fixtures in the gum.
- Verify attachment using digital scans and proceed to create crowns and other components at the processing site.
Crown Attachment:
- Attach digitally processed prosthetics to the patient, completing the dental implant surgery.
